Tesla LockChime Sound

The sounds from our shop are perfectly optimized (WAV format, under 1MB in size) and can be used directly as a Tesla LockChime.

Requirements:

To use custom sounds, your Tesla must be equipped with the Pedestrian Warning System (PWS). The Boombox feature was introduced in software version 2020.48.25 and is available only while the vehicle is in Park due to regulatory restrictions.

How to Install:

  • After your purchase, you will receive 3 WAV files in different volume levels: Full, -6dB, and -12dB.
Download links will be sent in your order confirmation email or can be accessed directly via your customer account.
The downloaded files do not contain the “voice watermark” heard in the shop’s demo versions.
  • Choose the file with your preferred volume level and rename it to LockChime.wav.
  • Copy the renamed file to the root directory of a USB drive.
  • Insert the USB drive into your Tesla’s USB port.
  • Open Toybox > Boombox in your Tesla and select the sound from the USB options.

Once set up, your Tesla will play this custom sound when locking, adding a unique and personal touch. 🚗🔊
